I have a real passion for teaching. One of the most rewarding aspects of my profession is to help a student develop his/her own voice.

I give singing lessons for all levels in a private class in Basel, Switzerland. My SMPV certificate allows me to offer voice training to an advanced professional level, including the preparation of students for a diploma.

Based on a solid vocal technique and a well-grounded understanding of style, my primary concern is at all times a coherent harmony between body and soul, a prerequisite for an authentic and moving interpretation.

Further on-going training with Burga Schwarzbach on a regular basis over many years (‘Training of bodily disposition’) has provided many stimuli for my lessons.

Moreover I qualified in 2008 as a ‘Brain Gym® instructor’. In a word, Brain Gym is a method where neural cross-linking processes are stimulated through the most rudimentary body movements. This method is of great value to singers and at the same time facilitates the learning process. In this context, I am in a position to offer courses to a wider public.

I also teach the piano at the Musikschule Arlesheim, and since 2009 I am a student of Prof. Wei Tsin Fu at the International Brain Academy in Tübingen/D to learn the “Snowman’s dream”-method.
